You must mention the exam name of which you are talking. In most cases the rank card holds your both general rank and category rank. It will be clearly mention before the rank about which rank it is talking. Just check your rank card carefuly, you might be missing something.

The admission to undergraduate medical courses through NEET to various private and government medical colleges throughout India has begun in most of the states. 

When results were declared by NTA it had both your All India rank and category rank if applicable. So, refere ro your score sheet to know your ranks.
