Well,yes you need to have Mathematics in your 12th of you want to pursue Bachelor of Science(B.Sc)in Physics. The minimum eligibility criteria is to pass 12th from any recognized board in Science stream with Mathematics as one of the main subjects with minimum 50 percent. The admission to this course is either through the boards marks or by entrance test.

Well, 'yes' you have to give Maths board exam to get admission in Bsc. Physical Sciences. There is no need of Biology in Physical Sciences. Actually, it is specially for Non-Medical opted students. Because further in college syllabus, it includes Physics and Maths as of major constituent. For Biology students or the students have done Medical in their higher grades with biology or biotechnology can get admission in Bsc Life Sciences. It's for the medical students.

For B.Sc. Physics you need to pass your 12th from a recognised university with Physics as a major subject. But it's not mandatory to have mathematics in 12th or to appear the maths paper in Board examination. What you need is a good percentage to get a good college.
