Military criteria for appearing in UPSC civil services examination is that the candidate should have completed graduation and must be 21 years of age.
You are asking about Age relaxation, let me describe it. In UPSC there are six attempt for general candidates and the maximum age to attend the examination is 32.
For OBC category candidates the maximum attempt is 9 and maximum age to attend exam is 35.
For SC/ST category candidates 5 years relaxation is provided which makes age 37 as their age limit for appearing in the exam and the attempts are unlimited till maximum age limit.
