my date of birth is 8th January 2007 can I give that exam of NDA 1, 2026

Shubham Jha 10th Jun, 2025

dear student,

For NDA 1, 2026, the age limit requires candidates to be born between July 2, 2007, and July 1, 2010 . Since your date of birth is January 8, 2007 , you fall just outside the lower cutoff , making you ineligible for this attempt. Even though you may be within the general age range (16.5 to 19.5 years), UPSC goes strictly by the exact dates mentioned in the notification.

Tanya Gupta 28th Feb, 2024

Hello,

You'll be eligible for the UPSC exam in 2027 as long as you don't turn 33 before August 1st of that year. As Generally, for the Civil Services Examination (which includes the UPSC exam), candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old as of August 1st of the exam year, with certain relaxations for reserved categories

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

May I appear neet exam as well as upsc exam at a time

mjaisinghani62 2nd Jan, 2024

Hello Sarthak

You may appear for Neet as well as upsc at the same time but you won't be able to prepare for both exams.

It will be better if you focus on any one entrance exam  and prepare .

Neet is a biggest entrance exam related to medical courses while UPSC entrance exam is given to become IAS

Both exams need dedication and very hard work.

You must decide in which field you wish to build your career then accordingly go for neet or upsc.
