Hello,
Bams and mbbs are two completely different courses . Bams is all about ayurvedic medicine system while mbbs deals with the modern allopathic system. Md degree for either of the course is different . You are required to choose from a certain given set of disciplines in which you want to pursue md . Just to give you an idea here I present certain disciplines in which you can pursue your md after completing bams course.
  • Ayurveda siddhant and darshana ( basic principles of ayurveda)
  • Rachana sharir( human anatomy)
  • Kriya sharir( human physiology)
  • Swasthavitra(social and preventative medicine)
  • Rog nidana and vikriti vigyaan(diagnosis and pathology)
  • Kaya chikitsa(internal medicine)
There are several other diciplines too. These are different if you are an mbbs graduate.
Hope this helps
Good luck
