Bangalore University is not VTU. Both are different. Most the Technical and Engineering Colleges are affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, while BU is a much older University with many Good Science, Arts, Management and Medical Colleges affiliated to it in Bangalore. Students of both Universities have a correlative culture and vibrant camaraderie.
