Currently there are two good institutions in India for CPL training. One of them being the government owned Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) and the other CAE Gondia (NFTI).

IGRUA- located in RaeBareily it is the one of the best flight school in India for ab initio CPL. IGRUA has a fleet of modern aircrafts including Diamond DA40, Zlin 24L, TB20 and the multi- engine DA 42. It also has its own airport to provide uninterrupted training. Though there is no guarantee of placement in the last few years some students have been placed in Air India. The cost for CPL at IGRUA is approximately INR 38 lakhs.
The second good option is CAE Gondia (NFTI). It's operated by the globally recognized institution CAE. Located in Gondia, Maharashtra it has the single engine DA 40 and the multi- engine DA 42. Like the IGRUA it has its own airport. It also has a Indigo cadet pilot program which assures direct employment in IndiGo though it costs a little high approx INR 75 lakhs. Also there is a normal CPL course which costs around INR 36 lakhs.
