Hello,
A commercial pilot is the who charges money for services and this is allowed by the FAA. You have to gain additional requirements for specific jobs such as to fly a regularly scheduled passenger service or to fly an airline. In order to become a commercial pilot, you have to give entrance exam which is the IGRUA exam.
The IGRUA exam is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi . The exam is conducted for admission in the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) course and B.Sc (Aviation) degree offered by IGRUA.
I hope this helps,
All the best
Hey.
At first I want to say to you is that choosing a career path is totally on you. You should go for your interest .
And now coming to your second question . We can't differentiate between mechatronics and robotics as robotics is subset of mechatronics . Both of them include mechanical, electrical, and computer science but mechatronics is a broader category . Mechatronics give you platform for Robotics but for getting good grasp of robotics you have to deep dive with your own way. If you want to work in the field of designing and developing autonomous machines then you can go for mechatronics.
Hope this answer will help you.
Have bright future ahead.
As you mentioned that you are financially weak then it is difficult to become your pilot. Coming to the point, This role can be accomplished by taking help of the IAF (Indian Air Force). Yes, all you need to do is get selected into the IAF, undergo Pilot training at IAF, become a Military pilot and later make the switch to Commercial Airlines sector.
Hi,
To be able to become a commercial pilot, your 10th grade marks don't matter at all. You should pass 12th grade with science as your stream(Math and Physics compulsory).
According to DGCA, there are no percentage requirements in 12th to be eligible for a Commercial Pilot License. However, most of the reputed fIying schools in India like IGRUA, CAE, Chimes Aviation Academy, MPFC, GATI, Gujarat Flying Club and many more which will provide you with world class training have minimum percentage requirements in 12th ranging from 51% to 60% for admission into their CPL course. This has been done by them to reduce the competition and eliminate students. So if you wish to join these flying schools then you will have to score according to their eligibility criteria. You can get to know about their eligibility criteria on their websites or their course brochures.
However, there are some flying schools in India without any percentage requirements as well, one of which is Academy of Carver Aviation, Pune. Also, you can go abroad for your training if you don't have a good percentage if you wish to since in countries like USA and New Zealand, most of the flying schools don't have percentage requirements.
If you want to work for an airline as a pilot, note this properly. Airlines in India have minimum percentage requirements between 65-75% marks in 12th during hiring of pilots. Below this, you can't expect a job in the Indian aviation market. Therefore try and do your best in 12th grade and score maximum marks. You won't be selected by any airline to fly their million dollar aircraft if you have less marks. All Cadet Programs in India have a minimum percentage requirement in 12th ranging from 55% to 60%(no exemptions).
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
