hello himanshu, except for the new IITs rest all are good for computer science engineering, i hope you can get into anyone. To be fair these IITs are very good in every branch that they have due to the structure they have like of studies, labs, reserch and placements.

Hello Himanshu,

Indian Institute of Technology(IITs) are the premier institutes of our country for tech related studies. The admissions are done by a two step proces - JEE Mains and Jee Advanced(for candidates who have qualified JEE Mains).

As for your question, the best IIT for studying CS would be IIT Bombay. It has the best placement and faculty for CS and also gives a lot of opportunities for the students. It is closely followed by IIT Madras. All the old IITs are almost equally good,with very little in between.
