bhms course is 5.5 year but some university showing 3 or 4 year as its time period what it means

Dear Aspirant, the BHMS course has a compulsion tenure of 5.5 years. The degree of 5.5 years is taken into consideration. It includes compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year after passing the final exam. So there is a chance the college is not including the internship period.
