Get familiar with the syllabus you need to figure out what is in the exam pattern – mode of exam, question  type and duration.

Follow a study plan. It will make you more organized and also help you stay on top of your preparation

Take notes and use flash cards. These are found to be very useful strategies to aid memory and sharpen creative process. 

Solve sample papers to get into exam mode. By solving sample papers one would also get a true feedback on where one stands, rather than live in a bubble.
