BIT Mesra is considerd mainly for Engineering and not for other stream. BIT Mesra is a institute which is known for engineering since decades . I can say it's a college wholly and solely for engineering. Yes there are various others department though but it is just for profit making. The favorable thing about the college is the felicitous environment , gems faculty having experience in the required field ,the college is not at all having a well founded infrastructure for the students pursuing MBA. Many of the company are not willing to come to Mesra for MBA because the college is well-known for engineering not for MBA. The course require exposure in every sphere from personality to networking which the college don't provide. So think twice to go for the college if it's MBA or Mtech
