Hello,
BIT MESRA is way better that the low rank NITs like Sikkim,Manipur but when compared with top rank NITs like Warangal,Trichy then it is not that much good.The average package is around 7 lakh rupees per annum.

BITMesra is only better to newer NITs like Durgapur, Agartala, nagpur and Silchar.
But comparing Mtech ciurses with premier NITs like Warangal, Calicut, Trichy, Kurukshetra, Suratkal makes BIT Mesra less attractive.

Placements at premium NITs are ranging at 6-12LPa on average.
BIT Mesra averages at 4-7LPA.
