BSC in food technology is a three year undergraduate programme involve studying food technologies like preservation of food, manufacturing and processing of food.

A food technologist works on developing new techniques, which are both cost effective and improve upon existing methods. It involves maintaining hygiene, keeping the color, potability etc.

It's a very good career choice and there are many recruiters in the field of food technology like Dabur, Amul, ITC, Pepsico, etc.

The average salary of the freshers is around 3 lakh per annum.

2. Quality Manager- 20,000 onwards

3. Nutritional Therapist- 15,000 onwards

These all salaries have been states as per a fresher. These will increase with experience in the field.

You can also go to pursue your masters degree after completion of this programme.
