After BSc in IT, if you are interested in a career in Computer Science, Software Engineering and IT, you may join MCA at some of the Top NITs like NIT Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal, Calicut, Nagpur, Jamshedpur, Jaipur, Rourkela and Allahabad through NIMCET Exam. Most of the above Institutes have standard Placements for MCA students with a median pay anywhere around 5-10 LPA.

As far as MBA is concerned, if done from IIMs, Management Schools of Old IITs like VGSOM, SJSOM, DMS IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IEM IIT Kanpur as well as Other Tier 1 and 2 Management Institutes like IMT Ghaziabad, SPJIMR, NITIE, FMS, XLRI, XIMB, MDI Gurgaon, TAPMI Manipal, JBIMS, NMIMS, ICFAI University, BIMTECH, KJ Somaiya you may expect good remuneration post MBA, anywhere between 10-20 LPA, with the range being much higher for IIMs. However, in case you are considering Tier 3 or 4 Management Institutes, you again wont have good career and placement prospects and neither will he institute provide effective management education.
