Pathology is the branch of science which deals with the study of cause, origin and nature of diseases in the human body. It offers careers prospects as pathology technicians, X-Ray technicians, E.C.G. technicians, U.S.G. technicians, etc. Some specializations to pursue in Pathology are Surgical Pathology, Veterinary Pathology and Medical Microbiology among others.

Careers opportunities as laboratory assistant in pathology labs for blood sampling, forensic examinations, etc. increase for the candidates.

There are many colleges offer the programme, The admission eligibility varies college to college.
