The cost of a Kerala BTech in computer science varies depending on the type of college. While private colleges may cost 1-2 lakh annually, government colleges typically charge between 20,000 and 50,000. Higher management quota seats—roughly 2–3 lakh per year—and some that call for donations (5–25 lakh) are possible. Cutoffs for CSE in KEAM 2025 vary by college.

GEC Thrissur and other prestigious government colleges require rankings below 5,000. Between 5,000 and 15,000 work for private colleges like Rajagiri. Cutoffs are lower for reserved categories (SC, ST, and OBC).
