Dear Aspirant

Both of them are the good career options however in engineering you might not be able to make a good career if you do not make it to a good college as the placements are shrinking, moreover, the placements in most of the top branches except for the Computer Science are almost zero in the tier 3 colleges. So from that point of view engineering is not that good career option. While on the other hand if you look at the top colleges then you'll find good placements.

In the medical field that is not the case and you'll become a doctor once MBBS is done and from there it is all about the experience and your career will go up from there, moreover there is shortage of doctors and over supply of engineers therefore medical is a good option considering all the factors. But if you get into top college in engineering in computer science then the situation is same in both the cases.

There's no doubt both the streams are well good enough and has a bright Career. Engineering is a course where the chances of getting s bright future is only possible with good educational grades and with a good educational institution. Doctorate is a stream where even it needs a good educational grades for bright future, but even if you fail to score good grades, you may work as assistant or in any other post.

You have an advantage of programming on your own and can start something on your own which you can't do in doctorate streams.

Main thing is your interest, both are completely different streams, you should go according to your interest. So, step accordingly
