by now this time engineering or doctor is best to study
Hi
A lot depends on your interest. If you are interested in because you can give your best only if you are passionate about something.
To day engineering is doing great as I know LPU is a university which has received the National Employabilty 2020 award for Best Placements.
LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of its students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively seven times in row.. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated it as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. MNCs recruit its students for the top notch positions which are the envy of many. The packages range from 1cr-15LPA in Microsoft, Amazon, Google etc. This year BTech CSE student bagged a 42LPA from Microsoft.Three students bagged 31LPA from Amazon in June 2020.
80,000/- per month as Highest Internship Stipend has been availed by LPU student (Summer Internship with Microsoft). More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment .
On the other the career of doctor too needs a lot of hard work and patience.
Choose wisely. Browse the websites of good colleges and decide fast as seats are filling due to online admissions.
Good Luck!!
Engineering is better option then doctores due to avaialbility of jobs and placement from campus drives.
DEar aspirant,
Both of these streams are quite good streams and have a very good career. However, there are few factors to consider. One is that in engineering the college matters a lot. If you are not able to get into a good top tier college then you might not be able to get into any decent product based core company.
In Doctor, you have no this problem as almost all the colleges for MBBS are fairly decent and will make you a doctor.
Moreover, if you are not into mathematics then doctor is the best available career choice. Engineering entrances exams are more focused on mathematics and are therefore very hard for students with average mathematics background to get into a top tier college,
That being said, engineering is 4 year course, MBBS is 5 year course. Moreover, if you decide to do masters then for engineering it is 2 years, and for doctor it is 3 years. So the study period is big than engineering in medical field but that is worth it more than engineering in most of the cases as tier 2/3 college students from engineering may find it hard to get into a decent tech/core company.
Hope this provides you an insight, comment below if you have any follow-ups.
THank you.
