For Architecture some of the preparation books you can refer to are:

Building construction- B.C.Punmia
Theory of structures & Strength of materials- R.S. Khurmi
Architecture and Planning by Graham
Buiding equipements by Fred Hall
Theory and concept of Urban Planning by G.K.Hiraskar

These are all recommended material for GATE architecture preparation.
