After doing diploma in mechanical engineering you can take admission in any of the engineering courses through lateral entry and jeelet type  entrans examinations. The fire and safty study after doing diploma in mechanical engineering from any Polytechnic College should have to take the disaster Management courses. On the other hand  if you want to take admission in fire and safety degree course of Engineering admission then you have to take diploma in fire and safety from any govt and NSDC approved  Colleges / polytechnic colleges.
