Firstly, the candidates who wants to pursue B.Sc should be from biology background. i.e..., you should have 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology. As you told that, you are from mathematics background, you are not eligible to apply for this and you can study the similar course in engineering too, such as agriculture engineering, bio technology engineering, etc.., These require 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. However, you can have the chances if you apply for private colleges whereas state colleges won't allow and they ask for science background.
