For the children of Defense Service Personnel and Ex-Defense Personnel, 5% of the intake capacity subject to a maximum of 5 seats in each institute are reserved

(a) Def 1 – Children/Spouse of an Ex-Defense Service Personnel domiciled in the State of Maharashtra.

(b) Def 2 – Children/Spouse of Active Defense Service Personnel domiciled in the State of Maharashtra.

(c) Def 3 – Children/Spouse of an Active Defense Service Personnel transferred to Maharashtra State from outside Maharashtra, who is a resident of the State of Maharashtra.

For Def 1 and Def 2, the applicant must be the son/daughter of a person who has been a member of the Armed Forces of India and who has put in at least 5 years of active service. The condition of minimum 5 year of active service will be cancelled if the Defense service person has been permanently disabled or killed in action.

There is no all India defence quota. However some states provide defence quota which reduces the cut off for government colleges by not that much. You would need atleast 470 to get MBBs , 430 to get BDS and above 350 for BAMS and bhms
