can commerce without maths students apply for IPM?

Hey.

The eligiblity criteria for IPMAT lays down that you need to pass Class 12th from a recognised board and also score a minimum aggregate of atleast 60% marks to be eligible for it. There is no compulsion as to having maths as a Subject in class 12th in order to be eligible. So yes, a student pursuing commerce without maths in 12th can apply for IPMAT. But the syllabus for IPMAT is such that it contains maths and the weightage ofit and level is high and hence it is beneficial for taking maths as a subject in 11th and 12th for the same.
