hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that yes, diploma holders are very much eligible to apply and give JEE mains examination. To appear in JEE Advanced, a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main . But their rank & score in JEE Main will not be considered for admission in NITs & CFTIs.
One thing more is that After completing Diploma in Engineering graduates can apply for the JEE MAINS exam. You have to strengthen your knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and most importantly in Mathematics. Only passing the JEE MAINS cannot grab your admissions in Engineering colleges.

Hello,
Yes, diploma holders are also eligible for JEE MAINS but they will be considered as 12th class pass-outs only. Hence, they cannot take direct admission in 2nd year of college. They have to continue with the first year only. They can give jee mains and if qualified for advanced then they can get IITs too. In IITs and NITs, there is no lateral entry.
Hope this information helps you. Thank you.
