According to Times of India survey packages offered to students by Indian firms up to 2019-

1. CS- 20 to 25 LPA

2. IT- 8 to 10 LPA

3. ECE- 7 to 8 LPA

4. ME- 5 to 7 LPA

5. EEE- 6 to 7 LPA

Only International firms offer packages in crores to the toppers and talented IITian students. So, yes you can get 40 LPA as a EEE student if you belongs to India's top colleges and if you are the best student of that college.
