Hi Aspirant,

For getting admission in IIT for biotechnology you need to give IIT JAM examination. This is for the degree of above graduation. There are two major entrance exams for the course. The All India Biotechnology Entrance test conducted by JNU for admission to about 500 odd seats in the 32 university departments is the first major one. IITs admit students through a Joint Admissions Test for IITs.

Hope it helps!!

Dear Aspirant,

to get admission at one of the IITs you are required to appear for JEE Advance Examinations, upon which only if you qualify as per the required cutoff, you will be given admission. Before appearing for JEE Advance, you will first need to appear for the preliminary exam which is JEE Mains. You will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advance examinations only if you score within the qualifying marks in JEE Mains Examination.
