Hello,
Yes you can apply for Jee mains while studying in first year of btech. Actually you can appear for Jee mains for three consecutive years. The first being the year when you appear for class 12 boards and then the next two consecutive years. It is a very tough choice but not impossible. So if you think you can manage both the pressure of Btech as well as JEE main , then congrats you can do that. It depends on you. So think before taking such decisions and also ask for assistance from teachers and parents.

Hi Aspirant,

Yes, you can appear for JEE Mains while studying B.tech 1st year. You have to study for both simultaneously and make sure that you perform well in the 1st year of your college as well.

Keep in mind, that if you qualify JEE, you will have to study the complete 1st year again in a new college.
