Yes,you can change your category for April session of JEE MAINS but you have to apply as new aspirant for doing so..You won't be able to use score card of JEE MAINS of January session in that case as you category is different in both session..If you fill application form of April session as old Aspirants then your personal information will remain as it is..

National Testing Agency (NTA) had closed the facility of JEE Main 2020 application form correction for January session. The application form correction of JEE Main 2020 was open from October 14-20, 2019. During the correction facility, the candidates were allowed to correct or edit most of the details provided in the application form during the registration process of JEE Main . The additional fee also has to be paid for changing some information during JEE Main application form correction 2020. Only those candidates who have completed their registration and paid the application fee will be able to access the application form correction of JEE Main 2020. For the April session, the application correction facility will be open tentatively from second week of March 2020.
