Yes you can change your branch after completion of 1st year that is 2 semesters, only if you complete all the credits prescribed in first two semesters of your studies in your first attempt,without having had to pass any course requirement in the supplementary examination and your score of CGPA should not be less than 8.5,at the end of 2nd semester.
