According to the law you can change your course.But for doing so you will need to apply to the respective college before the admission deadline for 12th are over.

You will be asked to take the official permission from your Principle asking him for the change in course,If he accepts to do so,you can change easily

NOTE DEADLINES ARE IMPORTANT ,AFTER DEADLINE YOU WONT BE ADMITTED IN ANY COLLEGE!

Hardly any school authority will allow it. If you can talk to them and convince them then they may allow you to change your stream. This depends on school authority so you have to talk to them. Yes, you can change if you are not comfortable with science. afterall it will decide your future.
