The difference between BA Economics hons and Bsc in Economis is that in BSc there are more practical aspects of Economics involved whereas in BA there are less. Also, Maths and Stats are at an advanced level in Bsc as compared to BA. But if you choose BA with maths as well as econometrics, then not much difference is left between the two. Hence you  can go with that too.
