Can I do B Sc in Mathematics after securing 55 in maths in my 12 board exam from a government college ?

Yes, you can do. Arts and science colleges admit students based on eligibility criteria. In that, usually, around 45% of marks is the minimum qualification marks. So you can get admission. But people like to do their course in Govt. Colleges and competition are also tough there. If you get a seat in any college, do well and be the best.
