Yes you are eligible todo BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application) courseafterpassing 12th class or diplomacourse but here i want to say you that you should not do a BCA course, since you are doing  diploma in engineering, i would suggest you to do a B.tech course.You can appear in lateral entry examinations conducted by various institutions and you will get admission directly to the 2nd year if B. tech course.Going for BCA after diploma is not at all a good option.
