if you are planning to take admission in IIT or NIT by your JEE score then sorry to say man you are not eligible by only 1 percent , as the basic eligibility criteria to get admission in NIT and IIT is candidate must have scored a minimum aggregate of 75 percent marks in their 12th standard and must have qualified jee mains and advanced (IIT) however with having this much percentage and using your jee score you can take admission in any other colleges or universities

Yes, you can get a college from JEE Main. However, for admissions into NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, you will have to score 75% in 12th standard (General category). For SC/ST category, the admission cutoff criteria is 65% marks
