Yeah, you can obviously get a very good college like NIT. Being in the same state where the NIT is situated has a very great advantage where you would belong to the HS quota( Home State Quota). And many times it happens that students who get 15000 rank may not be getting the same seat as a home state students whose rank us 30000 may be getting. Hence you have great chance. All the best.
