hi,

see cutoff score fluctuate every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream, students category and so on. gate cutoff goes lower for private colleges and the main competition is for government colleges. however you did not mention the stream in which you want to take admission.

Shoaib Khan yes, you have chances for electrical branches in private institute, however we currently not have the cutoff for medcaps university gate score. however before joining any institute check the placement statistics and quality of education.
