Hi Aspirant,

Obviously,it is compulsory to give JEE Mains for being eligible for NIT.Your 12th percentage just acts as a eligibility criteria whereas your performance in JEE Mains decides your college.

Dear Rohit

Rohit without JEE mains you can't be able to get into the NIT if you are in top 20 percentile also. So if you will in top 20 percentile then via JEE mains you can easily be able to take the admission in any of the NIT based upon the cuttoff and your obtained marks and rank in Jee Mains.

yes, you can enter into NIT. First you have to get good marks in your board exam and then you should takeup JEEmain.if you score good marks in jee then definitely you'll be in NIT.
