Hello learner,

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University, Vellore often considered one of the best technical universities in India was established with the aim of providing quality higher education on par with international standards.

The eligibility criteria for getting admissions at VIT, are the pupils from SC category should have completed qualifying exams, perhaps the boards or any equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% in PCM/PCB.Whereas, it is 60% for General Category candidates. If you're from Computer Science infrastructure, you'll have fair chances to pursue the course you desire(GROUP B). In case, if you're from Biology background, you're permitted to take only four specializations, that are build with Bio framework(GROUP A). Since, you've scored 70% in your boards, you have a good probability of getting in. It is mandatory and significant to provide your COMMUNITY/NATIVITY certificate at the time of your Counselling.

If you wish to take a program that falls under GROUP A, the expected fee to be paid is INR 1,73,000 for the first year. It is INR 1,98,000 for the courses that comes under GROUP B.

I have specified the fee structure only for the Engineering stream. If you wish to pursue the other slivers, the fee will vary accordingly. I would personally suggest you to  have an alternate, instead of entirely relying upon VIT.

I wish you All Success!

Ss For VJTI Mumbai, you should have your AIR Rank around 1k in your JEE Mains for CSE, being a SC candidate, you will have some relaxation.Considering, Walchand sangli the General Category students should have 154 marks in JEE Mains, whereas it will be still lesser for SC Category representatives. So, you'll have brighter chances, for these two colleges to get admitted in.
