Yes you can get VSSUT Burla through JEE mains, as your rank is pretty good for it and it lies under the predicted cut offs for Mechanical branch. According to the previous years' cut offs, the closing rank of JEE Mains goes around 6-7 lakhs for general category. So you can get it very easily.

Well Ashutosh you should know that vssut is a reputed college in Odisha which takes admission through Odisha counselling based on JEE mains rank. So in order to get a good branch you need to get good rank in JEE mains . For CSE around 40000 to 50000. For mechanical around 60000to 70000. So the rank which you are having you will not get mechanical engineering but you might get Manufacturing and materials branch (MME).

For mechanical engineering branch their opening and closing ranks lie between 60k to 70k. So it's nearly impossible for you to get mech branch in that particular college. But yes with this rank you can go for branches like chemical and production  engineering because their ranking lie around 2 lakh.
