Dear student,
With a NEET 2025 rank of 90,000 in the general category , it’s very unlikely that you’ll get a seat in a government BDS college , as most of them close well before 40,000. Top government dental colleges usually have cutoffs around 25,000–30,000 .
However, you do have a good chance of getting into a private dental college , since many of them accept students with ranks up to 1,00,000 or more . Some state quota seats in less competitive regions might also be an option, depending on availability.
So, while a government BDS seat might be out of reach, you’re definitely eligible and competitive for private BDS colleges . Focus on state and All India counselling, and keep an eye on mop-up rounds too.
