Hello student,

You have not mentioned which state you want to choose. Comparing the results of previous years, a score of 500 or above remained to be a safe zone for the obc category to procure a seat in the government medical colleges. It varies for states. For example, a score of 450 or above would fetch one a seat in Uttar Pradesh while it is not so in the case of states like Tamilnadu where the scores are really high. But one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
