For example, colleges such as NIT Durgapur, NIT Raipur, and sometimes BIT Mesra have had closing ranks around or even slightly above your rank in previous counseling sessions. If you belong to a reserved category like OBC, SC, ST, or EWS, your chances get even better, and home-state quotas can also help.
