Candidates must take the WBJEE or JEE Main to be admitted to the B.Tech programme. According to the Institute of Engineering and Management Kolkata admission process, 90% of the seats are filled through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and the remaining 10% through JEE Main. The admissions process for B.B.A., B.C.A., and M.Sc. Computer Science programmes are the same. Candidates must take the MAKAUT CET to be admitted to these programmes at IEM Kolkata. Direct admission is also available through the institute admission test and interview. Following that, candidates must attend MAKAUT CET counselling to secure a spot.
