If you have NEETSS 2025 rank 1459, securing a seat in DM Medical Oncology is highly unlikely in most private or deemed universities. The qualifying percentile for NEETSS is around 50%, but actual admission cutoffs for Medical Oncology are much higher, with closing ranks in top government and private institutes often below 150-200.

Some private or deemed universities may have management or NRI quota seats, but availability is limited and often unpredictable. Candidates with ranks above 1000 usually have very low chances unless seats remain vacant in late counselling rounds.
