But what is your general rank?

In wbjee all the seats are alloted on the basis of GMR rank and not your category rank.

This is very difficult to predict because cut off keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

--------) number of students that appeared in the WBJEE exam

--------)difficulty level of the WBJEE examination

--------)Kind of marks obtained by the students in the WBJEE exam

--------) number of students from different categories etc

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then,

In 2020, in 3rd round of wbjee counselling,

• 12834 general rank for sc category was closing rank in Jadavpur University and it was for Construction Engineering

So, being from sc category, you have chances in Jadavpur University only if your general rank is around 12000.
