Hey,
The University of Delhi is one of the best educational institutions in India and it is one of the most sought after place for pursuing undergraduation or higher studies and this makes admission here difficult. The admission to courses like Mathematics Honors is meri based, that is the marks scored in 12th. The cutoff varies for different colleges under Delhi University. The cutoff of good colleges fot general category goes as high as 99 percent. So,chances are less that you will get any college with 88 percent even after subsequent cutoffs. However,in colleges like Zakir Hussain or Bhagat Singh, there are chances that you may get a seat in second or third cutoffs.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
