Your btech completion certificate is only based on your grades obtained in your 4 yr course. Gate is an entrance examination for further studies in other colleges.So your btech certificate is independent of gate exam.Approach student office in your college to ask for certificate and make sure you dont have any backlogs.

GATE is the entrance exam for admission to various post-graduate engineering programmes. It has nothing to do with B.Tech certificate.

You B.Tech certificate will be based on your performance in the undergraduate engineering program you are pursuing.
