The finance minister declared scholarships for SC/ST students in 2005-06 union budget. but later on, in 2012 and 2016 the scheme was revised, and as per the scheme  " The scheme will cover SC students for pursuing studies beyond 12 ^th class ." So, no ST students are eligible, only SC students are eligible. You can check it here:
