Hi Aspirant,

Yes, you can appear for your M.sc exams in private mode but make sure to choose an accredited & recognized institute through which you will apply. Choosing a recognized university will help you in job prospects in future.

Universities like IGNOU, JNU, Anna University offers private M.sc courses so you can enrol yourself in any of these.

The eligibility criteria for applying to M.sc course is that the candidate should have at least 55% marks in graduation in a similar subject.
